Understanding Yukoners'
Attitudes Towards Vaccines (ATV)
We are ready for you!
We're excited to have you participate our project. We are seeking the following people to take part in interviews / guided conversations:
Citizens or citizen families, who are 19+ years old
and from
Champagne and Aishihik First Nations
or
Selkirk First Nation.

If you would like to participate, reach out to Project Coordinator / Researcher, Ruth Nielsen at 867-689-6456 or ruth.nielsen@yukonu.ca.
If you choose to participate, you can expect:
1. Informed consent - Ruth will go through a very detailed informed consent process, to make sure it is very clear exactly what you are agreeing to, how your information and privacy will be protected, and what will happen next.

2. Interview / Guided conversation - You will have an interview/guided conversation with Ruth and, if you want, a Community Researcher. We know that some people feel more comfortable with someone they know present, so they may want a Community Researcher to join. Others prefer a one-on-one conversation. It is up to you.

In the interview/guided conversation, you will be asked about how you make decisions to get, or not get, a COVID-19 and flu vaccines, who you trust or don't trust for information, and if you have any family experiences or stories that influence your decision.
As a 'thank you' for sharing your time and knowledge,
you will receive a $50 gift card.
3. Transcript - If you want, a written copy of your conversation will be returned to you, so that you can make any changes that you wish.

4. Validation focus group - After all of the interviews are complete, you will be invited to a focus group to confirm our analysis of what we heard.
